Mom loved this book. In fact she enjoyed the read so much that she finished this book yesterday and has already told 2 ladies at lunch today that they needed to read it. Her comment was it is a really, really good book. She has told me to give it an extra star but I can't give it 6 stars as Amazon only goes as high as 5 stars. This was her first read of a RaeAnne Thayne book and it will not be the last. Mom enjoyed the writing style of RaeAnne Thayne. I get all these romance novels for her. She loves to read and this book was no exception. I know when she loves a book because she will read it in a day or two. This book was read in a day. In addition, I am on the hunt for more RaeAnne Thayne novels.I never tell about the book itself as I DO NOT want to spoil anything for another reader. Mom may give me a synopsis about the book but I never talk about the storyline. Hate it when someone tells me something about the story that occurs 3/4 the way thru a book or a reviewer tells me they do finally get married. I don’t want you spoiling my reading and I do not want to spoil your reading when it comes to a good book. I figure it you are wanting to know a little about the story, you can read the synopsis that Amazon and the author gives you.This is definitely a recommend to Mom’s Beauty Shop Book Group. She loved this book and looks forward to more RaeAnne Thayne novels.
I do not think I have ever read this author but her romance does not have any chemistry and very little romance. I struggled to get through the book, hoping it would get better. It never did. Do not recommend.
